Greater Manchester Stop the War has just launched its own YouTube channel. Its first video is Tariq Ali speaking in Manchester Town Hall on 8th September 2005 in the aftermath of 7/7. In view of the recent dramatic rise of Islamophobia exemplified by the EDL, Tariq's speech merits a second hearing. Tariq was a nationally known leader of the Vietnam Solidarity Campaign in the 1960s and today is a writer, campaigner and editor of New Left Review.
