An official enquiry into the war on Iraq has finally been announced. It will be held in secret.
"This is outrageous! They cover up every thing all the time, treating us like idiots. It is so blatant."
Karla Ellis who lost her brother in Iraq.

Military Families Against the War, the Stop the War Coalition, the Liberal Democrats, Labour MPs like Peter Kilfoyle and others are all calling for a full public enquiry. Just days after Gordon Brown announced a new 'listening' style of government he announces a behind closed doors enquiry. We saw what happened when the MPs' expenses were sorted out behind closed doors. The demands for a public enquiry can only increases.

This enquiry will not be able to compel witnesses, evidence will not be heard under oath, nor will any blame be laid on anyone for any 'mistakes' made. No-one will be held to account.

"Two key questions need to be addressed. Was the war legal? When was the decision made to go to war - and who decided?' said Andrew Bergman from the STWC.

"This enquiry has been set up, not to find out who was responsible for taking us into an illegal, immoral and unjustified war in Iraq, but in order to provide a 'whitewash'. The only lessons they want to learn is how to to better cover things up, and how to be better prepared to fight the next war."

In March of 1994 a police officer - Emlyn Welsh, was giving evidence at the Old Bailey in the murder trial of Malcolm Kennedy who was accused of the murder of Patrick Quinn in the cells of Hammersmith police station on Christmas Eve 1990. (This case can be googled).

Whilst in the witness box, Welsh was asked a series of questions about 9/11, and these questions are documented in the trial transcript.

Assuming what is stated above is true, the government knew about 9/11 in 1994.

This is what they are desperately trying to keep concealed.

Such arrogance!! We should really rally together and have a huge national demonstration. We have no more time for sitting in our little factions, our democracy is just one huge joke. Our so-called leaders do not care what we think. Maybe they think there are not enough of us? Let's mobilise!
