Stop the BNP - Defend the Muslim Community
Make your vote count in the Euro Elections.

Any advance for the racist and fascist BNP in the European elections would be a set back for all of us who have achieved unity in opposition to the 'war on terror'.

The Stop the War Coalition brings together people from a wide range of different communities, trades unions, as well as political parties, students, and others. One of our strengths has been the involvement of Muslim groups. Many Muslims are activists in the STWC and they are among our leadership.

The BNP are a party built upon hatred and racism. The BNP hate Muslims(as well as many other groups). Any advance by the BNP would lead to further attacks on Muslims and would undermine our broad base built upon unity.

"The STWC has to confront any elements which would attack that base. This make the demands of the Stop the War Coalition dovetail with those groups opposing fascism as they both share a common unity." said Rhetta Moran at our recent AGM.  "The Stop the War Coalition demonstrates a unity which is not determined by party affiliation. It is vital we consolidate that unity. We should call on all our supporters to make sure they vote in the European Elections"

Our supporters are drawn from many of the political parties contesting the forthcoming European Elections. We do not advocate a vote for a particular party, but we do urge our supporters to use their vote so as increase turnout and lessen the chances of the BNP making electoral gains in the North West.
