**Want to watch the best war documentary ever made?

Live in Manchester? Well pop down to the Sacred Trinity Church just off Deansgate on the 14th of October at 7pm.

You'll find Restrepo being hosted by former British soldier, Adnan Sarwar, in a beautiful venue complete with a bar run by Reverend Andy Salmon. The Church is literally off  Deansgate so once we're finished and the bar is dry there's still plenty to do and it's very easy to get anywhere. I'll be talking about this on Twitter @adnansarwar See you there, boys and girls, cam cream optional.

RESTREPO is an entirely experiential film: the cameras never leave the valley; there are no interviews with generals or diplomats. The only goal is to make viewers feel as if they have just been through a 90-
minute deployment. This is war, full stop. The conclusions are up to you. A feature-length documentary that chronicles the deployment of a platoon of U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan's Korengal Valley. The movie focuses on
a remote 15-man outpost, “Restrepo,” named after a platoon medic who was killed in action. It was considered one of the most dangerous postings in the U.S. military.
