School Students Against the War (SSAW), which made such a dramatic impact in 2002-3 when thousands of students across
the country walked out of school in protest at Tony Blair's decision to take Britain into the Iraq war, is now mobilising support for the campaign to bring the troops home from Afghanistan. It is holding a conference, WHY THE WAR IN AFGHANISTAN MATTERS, on 26 September in London, which is open to all school students.
