• The war in Afghanistan is costing £5bn every year at a time when the Government seeks to claw £85 bn from the poorest in Britain.
• The reason the leader of the Labour Party now says he thinks the war in Iraq was wrong and the reason Tony Blair cannot show his face on the high streets of Britain is because of the pressure of the anti war movement.

National Time To Go! demonstration in London on Saturday 20 November, called by Stop the War, CND and the British Muslim Initiative, is so important. It takes place on the same day as the Nato summit in Lisbon and it needs to reflect the scale of majority opinion opposing the war -- consistently polling at over 70 per cent.
